R64 Wires pass a Signed 64-Bit Integer value around. They only go in one direction (Blue is Input and Red is Output). By Right Clicking on it when you are not holding either a R64 Wire or R64 Junction it will change the orientation of the Output side. Depending on the direction you are looking will determine the orientation of the Input side.
